Job Description

CSI is looking for a panel builder to join our in-house panel shop. • Mount components to back panels and enclosures
  • Point-to-point wiring of relays, PLCs, I/O modules, VFDs, interfaces, and instrumentation
  • Cut, strip, bend, and terminate wires within panels and control boxes
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings; provide mark-ups for corrections and changes back to the design team
  • Create wire, device, and cable labels using labelling tools
  • Assist with panel inspections (CSA/UL)
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and organizing hardware parts for projects
  • Provide on-site field support for installation, wiring, or troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with control panel building and wiring (1 year preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
  • Working knowledge of relays, PLCs, contactors, power supplies, and similar components
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools and test equipment related to panel building
